While working for the Peace Corps as a Community Development Coordinator in Fiji, Michael crafted a S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) curriculum; Grant writing and interaction with the locals bolstered his written & verbal skills and expanded his ability to teach multiple subjects in topical depth. Michael’s experience as an Education Advisor in AmeriCorps Vista, allowed him to challenge local issues and collaborate with organizations to mitigate poverty. Being a Pre- Law student for the Law School Admissions Council, enabled Michael to garner skills in oratory that further developed his ability in team building. Michael’s responsibilities as a Senate Aide for the Georgia State Senate included examining legislation and tracking it based on committee interests. Furthermore, being a Resident Advisor amplified his aptitude to deliver efficient problem solving when dealing with diverse populations.
