ANH TA, INTERNATIONAL SERVICE LIAISON

Anh Ta is pursuing a Master in Global Media at both the School of International Service and the School of Communications, with a focus on international communication and new media, and a regional interest in the Asia-Pacific.
Before coming to AU, Anh completed her Bachelor’s degree at Lawrence University of Wisconsin with a major in International Relations and a minor in Creative Writing. While an undergraduate, Anh served as editor-in-chief at the collegiate newspaper, The Lawrentian, as well as an active program and communications assistant at the International Students Services and the Admissions Office.
Anh is passionate about creating a supportive community for international students on her campus, and designing meaningful programs to enrich and complement their learning experiences.Currently, Anh works as a Research Assistant at the School of International Services studying 18th century Chinese imperial policies toward Muslim minorities, and serves as the Director of Resources and Training at the Journal of International Service.
When not studying and working, Anh can be found experimenting with her new recipes, running on trails in Glover Park, or hanging mid-air at a rock climbing gym
