Program: Education Policy & Leadership

Koedy is currently in his third year teaching 3rd grade English-as-a-second-language (ESL) and also holds an Instructional Leadership role at his school in Memphis, TN. In addition to teaching, he is in a policy advisor fellowship working on education policy issues, specifically focusing on school facilities, public-private partnerships around health, and equity around school funding.

He grew up in south Mississippi, but after undergrad, he moved to New Hampshire and took a position as a Regional Field Organizer on the Hillary for America campaign. He finally settled in Memphis, TN as part of his Teach for America assignment. His passions are community, equity, access for groups who have been historically-currently disadvantaged, and grace which his faith plays a vital role.
