RACHEL MARIE PAQUIN, SOCIAL EVENTS CHAIR
Program: Master of Public Administration
Rachel Marie Paquin is a first-year MPA student with a concentration in nonprofit management with an arts focus. Rachel Marie currently works for the School of Public Affairs in the Office of the Dean as the Senior Administrative Assistant to the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education and the Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. She moved to Washington, DC in August 2017.
Prior to moving to DC, Rachel Marie lived in Sacramento, CA for 3.5 years where she worked in public affairs, media relations, and communications. She served as the Media Relations and Events Coordinator of St. John’s Lutheran Church for 2 years where she conducted the organization’s first communications audit and drafted its first communications plan. She also worked for Dewey Square Group, a public affairs firm, in their Sacramento office where she focused on social media management, media relations, and government relations.
Rachel Marie went to Iona College in New Rochelle, NY for her undergraduate degree. She double majored in Political Science and Mass Communication with a concentration in TV/Video Production. She is originally from Rhode Island.
