American University offers many opportunities for graduate students to study and intern abroad during the summer, semester, or for an entire year through institutional partnerships and faculty-led courses managed by the Kogod School of Business, the School of International Service, and the Washington College of Law. Students may apply to study abroad through another school’s program; however, all students are subject to the individual eligibility requirements and availability for each program. Use the links below to explore what your school has to offer.
Reminder: GLC Travel Grants cannot be used for Study Abroad opportunities.
We encourage you to visit the Office of Merit Awards website which advises on scholarships that include study abroad opportunities.
